Spent 3mths in Switzerland/Germany/french alps with no issues will 2.8m height touring all the small mountain towns that was winter 2019. If there ever was a height barrier then there was always parking right near.
Better to have the storage if you need it.

We’re planning to leave for France this week for around six weeks, as usual. It would be really appreciated if you could update with any issues or plain sailing that you encounter.
If you’re going to Morzine to mountain bike, I strongly suggest you explore away from the obvious trails as the good stuff is hidden but so much better! Enjoy.

Zero issues, pretty much same as is written further below, at Chunnel there is a validation point inside main building which allows you to check you have all docs. French didn’t check anything other than passports. Everyone has been very welcoming and everyone complying with masks etc without a hint of a fuss. So far so good
