Double glazed or sliding rear window help.

Hi.

I'm stuck between the two options, double glazed rear windows or sliding rear window.which in reality is best?

Hi, in my opinion an opening window in the rear is important, don't forget if you spec privacy glass you lose the double glazing anyway.

But you can have privacy added by the dealership. We had laminated with the extra sliding window and then had privacy added because the tint on the laminated glass is more of a goldfish bowl effect than privacy.

I am looking at the current price list.

It says Privacy glass with heat insulation - Green in the cab and dark tinted in the passenger compartment.

We had a drive earlier this week in a new vehicle and it had Privacy glass and the rear side windows looked to be double glazed.

So we are a bit confused, what is heat insulation?
