Driver Assistance Pack A - June 2020

I am just about to complete the purchase of June 2020 600 which may include the Driver Assistance Pack A, but I cannot find anywhere explaining what this includes.

I have checked the brochures and price lists which don't make it clear at all

Things may have changed from 2 years ago so I would appreciate it if anyone can help me with a JUNE 2020 MODEL

I have this on my 21 plate GC and it was just additional side parking sensors

The 2020 brochure describes it as just side assist.

There are no additional side parking sensors on the vehicle so I guess that is a change since 2020.
So if it is on the vehicle at all if probably is just side assist. What does that do then ?

When you say no additional sensors, what sensors are there? My 600 with side assist has 4 on each side, one on the corner of each bumper, one just in front of the rear wheel arch and one towards the Back of the front door.

I don’t know what I would work if I didn’t have them but I have the blind spot warnings in the side mirrors and the parking sensor display shows objects to the side as well as to front and rear.

Having just checked the current configurator todays version of pack A is from and rear parking sensors + side assist.

As far as I can recall it just as sensors on the front and rear bumpers.
Coming to the conclusion that the pack is not on the vehicle despite the description saying it is.
Would you agree ?

Where does it say that the vehicle has it?
The spec sheet for my van doesn't mention the extra bed or a few other bits but they are certainly there. So the spec sheet certainly isn't infallible.

It is just listed on the description that the garage are showing but it could be an error

If you want to know what the vehicle was built with find the PR Code sticker either on the vehicle or in the front of the service book and decode the PR numbers from this website or any one of the ones offering a similar service. Some are more up to date than others.
Failing that take the VIN to a dealer and ask for a 'Car Data Print' of that vehicle but be aware it can be very confusing done that way.
Another option is to visit the T6 Forum and ask on there for the details.

I doubt that you will find any reference to a 'package' as my understanding is that 'packages' are a figment of a sales departments imagination and may vary model year to model year and possibly country dependant whilst the PR codes relate to individual options.

I am waiting for a MAN TGE which I ordered in August 2021 as a very bespoke order. Had I ordered it from VW as a Crafter I would have been tied pretty well to VW UK 'packages' but by ordering through a MAN dealer as a TGE I was given the PR book (all 200+ pages) and told to build my order as I wanted so provided there were no technical clashes between items I could do just that.

OK understood but all the packages are shown in the VW brochures including this one which says includes side protection which I am pretty sure it has not got.
I am coming to the conclusion that the pack is not in my vehicle.
