Duvalay topper for upper T6 Ocean bed - Can it be left in place?

Up to now we have just used the standard VW upper bed mattress, but now feel we need a bit more comfort.

Can the Duvalay 5cm topper be left in place on top of the standard mattress, when the roof is down?

Or does it interfere causing the roof to buckle or not close fully closing?

The other option is to go for the 5cm Zonesleep Ultra as a replacement to the standard mattress.

Any first hand experience please?

Regarding leaving the 5cm topper on top of the existing mattress in the roof that is a firm no, can't be done. Not enough gap when the roof is down to have anything extra other than a "wafer thin mint", even that might be pushing it!

I have not had or slept on a Zonesleep so cannot help with that I'm afraid.
