Hi All, I've just bought a 2014 T5.1 and it has a RNS500 headunit with DYNAUDIO. I've been looking around for information regarding upgrading to a headunit with Android Auto.
After pulling my hair out trying to find the correct info I decided to go to a car audio specialist today in Rotterdam. He said that because I have the Dynaudio upgrade it's very difficult to upgrade and keep all the functionality of the steering wheel controls, reversing camera etc and he would need to replace the Dynaudio amp and more things to get it working but at a cost at least 2000 euros!
Looking around some of the VW forums in the UK I'm getting mixed signals if it's possible or not.
Has anyone here managed to upgrade the same system that I have to Android Auto while keeping all functionality included reversing camera?
