We have a week off and have booked a ferry to Ouistreham on Monday morning.
Question is we are having a little trouble finding sites in Normandy that are open this early in the season.

Does anyone have some suggestions?

Ron.

If it is just a stop off there is an aire in Ouistreham literally 2 mins away from the port, right next to the beach and walking distance to the shops and restaurants

In Dieppe, there is a park site open all year round, dedicated for motorhomes and campervans. Just on the sea shore, nice spot. 7 Euros/24 hours. Drive till the end of the port, on the west side of the port canal. I think there is another one on the east side as well, I saw motorhomes there, however the west side is closer to the city restaurants and walking grounds. There is a toilet, not often very clean though, obviously no showers.

Thanks folks that is all really helpful.

We are in France until Sunday so a combination of sites and Aires will fit the bill perfectly as we want to get down to the Loire for some wine if we can.

Thanks again.
