EcoFlow Delta2 and AirTag

Any Idea how to get an AirTag inside of the Exoflow Delta2.
Just incase it gets stolen ?
Anybody else done it.
Or a way of securing it behind the Passenger Seat (Right hand drive)
Maybe some type of Bike chain (wrapped in cloth) and chained to the chassis ?

Here you go. Looks straightforward to attach one to the underside of the light grey case

How will you securely attach the tag inside? AirTags don’t have any fixing holes. You certainly don’t want an AirTag coming loose and moving about amongst all those electronics/electrics.

A large spot of silicon adhesive will work.

I’m sure I’ve read somewhere that the police cannot enter property to recover potential stolen iPhones using the find my phone app (even though the app tells you where it is!) - could this be a similar scenario?

I doubt the police have the resources to chase stolen power banks.

I’d imagine it’s like bikes etc. Report it stolen, receive a form letter a few days/weeks later to notify you case closed.

Another devil’s advocate here. Seems like a wasted air tag. Aren’t they really to locate lost items?

I have one hidden inside my Saab, worked really well for over a year and in sub zero outdoor temperatures. Stuck it on with some 3m double sided tape. Still stuck on and battery good.
And you’re correct, I wouldn’t want it coming unstuck and welding the invertor to the AC.
At least I have a firestick to put out the flames

I'm a wedding photographer, and I use tags for all my camera bags, memory card wallets etc.. and they are very handy.

What I would say, though, as others have said, they are more for quick finding your stuff; venues often move my camera bag or if my SD Card wallet falls out etc.. I can find them quickly.

If someone grabs a bag and drives off, I'll be able to see it until they get a notification that an 'Air Tag has been following them' on their iphone etc.. they will then look to find it and ditch it or the bag.

With the Delta, if you do go down the route of placing one in the casing, get a small stick on pouch and hide it as best as you can; going down the sticking route will work until you need to change the battery.
