Electric Coffee Machine for Cali

Hello again, any recommendations on a good compact electric coffee machine, as we do like our coffee.
Fingers crossed we should be getting our van next week.

You probably want to look at @CaliforniaTime videos on YouTube. Will has tested lots. My own coffee addiction has been sated by a small cafetière (£5 from Waitrose), and coffee bags.

And good luck on getting your van next week - probably want champagne instead of coffee?

Looking into getting an espresso machine in the Cali. I use a nespresso machine at home, and think the simplicity would make it ideal in the Cali. Looking on the website I see that there are 2 small machines, the pixie and the inissia. Just wondering if any of you can spot what the difference...

I have an AeroPress for the morning latte with a Nespresso plug in frother. Just flat milk if off grid. For a quick espresso I use the Wacaco pump. Both work great, compact and more importantly easy to clean up after.

This is what we have - with the larger water tank. You have to be a bit organised to do two coffees (grounds can get a bit messy, but I don’t like using nespresso capsules, though they are an option). We then use a stainless steel jug with plunge frother to heat and foam milk.
Together they result in excellent latte, as seen here when we were marshalling a race

When were on hookup, we use a Nespresso Essenza Mini and a milk frother. Takes up very little room, makes great coffee. Sachet flat whites and cappuccinos when not on hookup!

I had one of those wacaco machines it works well but a bit finicky so when I got my EcoFlow lithium battery I decided to buy a Delonghi coffee machine the smallest they have and it fits on the floor behind the drivers seat . Perfect so now it’s coffee and a toast in the morning…
