When I am lowering the roof on my vw California T6 ocean model 2018 it miss 5 cm on the right side. It sound like it meet some mechanical resistance an back a little up again. There is no obvious visible obstructions,
I have tried to reset the roof but it does not help.
We are inna remote camping spot in France and would very much like the roof in place before returning to Denmark.
Any suggestions?
Best Regards

This thread highlights an issue with the roof latching hook in the roof having moved - it might be worth reading this and having a look.

Worth checking out (happened to me) towards the front there's a plastic conduit that covers the wiring loom underneath it. It's like a half pipe really, mine came loose after some over-zealous cleaning and stopped the roof closing.

worth checking as an easy fix

Thanks for the good adviced!
I was looking for a T30 torx to adjust the closing hook on the roof, but no shops close to our camping spot here in southern France. In the mean time I lubricadet all the joints with some silicone I had in my toolbox AND THE ROOF CLOSED in both sides .
What do you use for lubrication?
Best Regards

I like the site and have just paid for a VIP membership, but I cannot download the technical files. Maybe it takes a while before the membership status is changing?
