Electric side door issue

I've had no problem with our electric side door until last week, when it will open using the key fob but not close. In using the switch on the dashboard it will close but I have to hold the switch all the time until it's closed.

Does anyone have the same issue or any pointers as to a solution.

It used to close & open simply by pressing the key fob. I've also just had a new battery fitted in the fob and have the same problem with my spare key.
