Cooptroop
Noob owners here, collecting our 2012 T5 Cali next weekend, and I have some questions about the electrics. Can anyone confirm my understanding from what I've read;
Connections:
There are two 240v sockets. One on the side of the kitchen below the sink and the other on the b-pillar.
The connection on the kitchen unit can only be used when on a hook-up.
The connection on the b-pillar can run off the LB but only low power items.
There are 3 - 12v "cigarette" sockets - one in the cab, one by the sliding door, and one in the boot. These are all powered from the LB.
Usage:
The electric roof, windows, radio and cab 12v socket are hooked to the car battery.
The fridge, rear 12v sockets, inside lights and B-pillar inverter socket all use the LB.
Doors:
The doors have a "soft close". Does that use the LB or the car battery?
Finally, is there a battery gauge?
