error: auxiliary heater

Hi there, We have a new California Coast and on the first trip out in it we have error: auxiliary heater showing up on the control unit at the top. It's stuck on this and won't come off it and the heater is not working. Not sure if it's something done wrong or a software/hardware problem. It's really cold so would love to get it working.

Hello, I would check:

Fuel tank is at least 1/4 full
Battery power is sufficient
Vents on the B pillar are not obstructed in any way

Otherwise I’m afraid it might be a trip to VW.

It would help a lot if you would state/confirm which vehicle year vehicle you have, eg T6 T6.1 .Your Avatar says “ Just Browsing”.
