Extra drawer under rear seat.

I have a question - when you order the net for the upper bed, you also get an extra drawer under the rear seat instead of the ‘long items’ space. My question Is, when you get this drawer, does the trim at the back go all the way to the left - i.e. behind the new drawer? Also is the drawer itself removable? I’m hoping for the best of both worlds here - to be able to remove the drawer and still carry long items when necessary, but when not, put the drawer back for extra storage.

Probably a long shot, but worth asking.
