Hi everyone,
I thought it was time to introduce myself on here.
My partner and I used to travel a lot when we were younger, and we started vanlife in Australia in a 1992 Toyota Tarago called Skippy. Life has evolved since then and we are now a family of four, with two young children, living in France. The travel bug never really left us though, and last November we finally took the plunge and bought our first California. It’s a 2006 T5 in Tornado Red, which I actually spotted here on the forum. We absolutely love it (especially the kids) both as our second car and as our getaway van.
I’ve already started doing a few small jobs on it, including changing the tap and pump thanks to the many helpful posts and guides shared here. This forum has already been a great resource, so thank you to everyone who contributes. I’m mainly introducing myself now as I’ll be posting in the “wanted” section shortly. I’m on the lookout for a Brandrup interior IsoTop so we can enjoy the van even more during winter… and maybe sleep a little later in the summer as well. haha
Looking forward to learning more, sharing experiences, and hopefully meeting some of you along the way.
