faulty tyre pressure monitor..

Any way of remedying a fault with the tyre pressure monitor ? Flashes and when the reset button is pressed 'not available ' message pops up ..... Started flashing for no reason - pressures were fine ... just trying to avoid an 80mile round trip to the dealer......

You could try disconnecting the battery. It may reboot things but you will have to reset the closing mechanism for the front windows. Easy to do and covered in your handbook.

Probably needs to be connected to the Diagnostic Computer. Could be a fault with a ABS sensor, which is used to monitor the wheel rotational speed which will be dependant on the inflation pressure.
Which vehicle do you have?
