So a change to our family plans this half term made a change in the trip. However, currently sitting on a ferry about to leave Calais after 7 nights aboard the cali with my son.
We spent the first 4 days in Bordeaux with some surfing and lacanau and then returned via Loire (municipal site - really excellent) and then onto camping Ypra in Kemmel, Belgium for the last couple of nights to take in some WW1 stuff in Ypres and passendale.
Really looking forward to a hot shower and a proper bed but it’s been lovely. The cali has been faultless over a couple of k miles but is looking well travelled and filthy!!
