Fixing a bracket on dashboard

I'm looking for some advice, before I make a mess.
I'd like to fix the bracket for the VB Air controller between the Infotainment Unit and the Instrument pod (see pics).
I've had it mounted there with double-sided tape for months, but in the recent hot days, the glue melts and it keeps falling off.
Perhaps I should use the supplied screws, but I don't know what is behind the facia in the intended location.
Any and all advice gratefully received.

Try automotive grade trim tape. Much more durable than double sided carpet taps.

Double sided auto tape. The real 3M stuff is the best and holds more bits on a car than you would like to know.

Sikaflex.

Thank you all. Given the relatively small arera, a tube of sikaflex would seem excessive. Will go with 3M tape and see what happens.
