We have got two just in case, good to know it will be hopefully doing the job

You should be able to tell whether or not it is doing the job by looking at the charger display or remote if you have one. Mine usually shows both leisure and starter batteries fully charged unless there is a prolonged period without sun. In any case I use EHU on a monthly basis; the solar display should still tell you the state of all the batteries.
