floor failure?

just back from the great meeting in stratford. this morning when pulling my t6 beach roof down I noticed the floor in the cab bowing when I stood on it between the handbrake and passenger seat. didn't notice this before. anyone else had this. has something snapped under there? obviously this part of the floor is designed to be stood on. and no...I am not a fat bas...d .

There is a thick foam like pad under the carpet between the front seats with channels on the underside to cover a wiring loom that passes between the front seats.
