Footwell light bulbs

I would like to upgrade my footwell lights (2019 Beach) to LED. There is another post that shows how someone has made the change, but details are not provided.

Thanks for your help.
These work fine no errors : AliExpress (this listing says yellow , the light is bright white and far brighter than the standard incandescent bulb).

You mean like this?

I bought some white LED's with round LED head from AE, but they all died one after the other.
Then I bought new ones, with 3 LED's, but first I had to make some adjustments to the connector, as the polarity wasn't right.
So now I have these:

I just had to scrape one contact on both sides to prevent it from making short circuit.

Hmm. Just bought these and they’re a different fit altogether. I suspect the link had changed since you posted.
Try Ali Express , very very inexpensive, (16 bulbs under £2 ) , they worked well have had no issues at all

Note the bulbs may require to be oriented correctly, (polarity sensitive) they may require 180 degree rotation to make work - 50 / 50 change of getting it right first time !

They look the same fitment as the ones I’ve bought. When I took the light out, there were 4 tiny little bulbs in there. Not even sure they’re removable.
T5.1 if they makes a difference?

The incandescent bulbs are a tight fit, wiggle as you pull, they will come out

All the lights are the same bulb, text changed slightly over each model

I’m missing something.
The bulbs in situ are approx 2-3mm diameter and plug into a hole a similar size. The LED is significantly wider and won’t fit in there.

Send a picture of the OEM Led next to the one you have.

The 4 incandescent bulbs are removable.
If the fitment of your bulb is the same as in my photos the New bulb it will fit.

I won’t get a chance tomorrow but I’ll look on Thursday. My gut feel is the led is a lot bigger than you are showing there.

Just a little knowledge?
The little light bulb, for the footwell, has a T5 (really) fitting.
The bigger one, like for the overhead lights, or parking lights at the front, has a T10 fitting.
Thanks @TripleBee - so these bulbs are for the overhead lights in habitation area. What are the parking lights you mentioned?

Well, in my T5.1, in the driver's cab, I have 2 T10 lights, and a C10W.
In the T6.1, I think it are LED's soldered to a circuit board, so not interchangeable.
In the habitation area, it are also LED's from 2010 and upwards.
Parking lights are indeed in the headlights. Only if you don't have LED headlights.
