Ford rail system rear seats in a 6.1 beach

Quick question:
Looking for a single seat to fit into Beach rails now that I have taken the bench out. The VW caravelle seats are expensive, can anyone help if the Ford Torneo seats would fit in there as singles, not the bench. The price difference is significant....

Possibly in the future, as the new Transporter is basically a Transit but for anything T6.1 or earlier I would be very surprised (amazed in fact) if Ford seats fitted the Volkswagen rail.

Thanks for the reply, I ask as there are images of Torneo 3 seat benches that look very much like the VW ones. Also, images of single seats on rails too.

Unless you can measure them mm perfect and examine the seat locking assembly there is no way you can be sure. However, as the old Transit and the old Transporter are different, related vehicles, from different manufactures I would say the chances that the rails are identical in terms of dimensions, spacing and seat locking are probably less than winning the jackpot on the lottery.

The Beach single seats have integrated seat belts and have been safety tested. No other vehicle seats would have been.

California seats pop up on here for sale fairly frequently. If you look at the adverts you’ll probably find one that’s available. Expect to pay around £300 +/- £50.
