Nope - new, although 10 months old and 18 trips under the belt. Just looks the same colour as inside so presumed off the Cali somewhere.

Might be one of the table leg height adjusters, i.e the table stored in the door. I had a similar experience.

No. That one has an iron thread with a black stopper.

I can't relate that to anything I have seen in my California.
Might be of something in a T6 that wasn't in the T5.1, but I highly doubt it.
If you find where it was missing from, I will have a look again in my van.
Does it have a VW number on it? eg: 7h0 xxx xxx xx ?

I recall having something very similar to this on a Coleman folding camping table. There was one on each leg. It was a great table until I drove over it after I left it underneath the van on a campsite. I’m almost 100% sure, exactly the same colour.

No. At least not in mine. That one is black, and is a nut, not a bolt.
