Fresh water drainage lever

Hi all, I am struggling to find the fresh water drainage lever in my VW T4 California 1991. Can anybody give me a hint?

I can only give you a broad hint: It will necessarily have to be close to the water tank. On my T6.1 it's in the rear cupboard but I don't know the precise location on a T4.

If your tank is in the boot on the right hand side then there is no lever.

There is a screw cap located up underneath the rear of the van behind the rear bumper.
Kneel down and take a look under the van below the tank and you’ll see it.

Just unscrew it, drain, replace.

I had the same trouble with my 2003 T4, but finally found it. It was hidden behind a panel that was above the campingas compartment. Removing the panel, I had to reach my hand down and to the right, where I found the red fresh water lever. I can send a photo if it helps.
