Fresh Water error message T6.1 ocean.

Hi, has anybody had this message appear before?
It appears when I turn the fresh water tap on in the kitchen area. No water comes out even though I have a full tank.

The vehicle status screen also has an error symbol over the fresh water tank.
If I can’t fix, it looks like another trip to the dealers again.

There's a lot of information on this forum about how people can hear the pump whirring and water not coming out. Its an airlock thing, quite easily fixed. Its worth searching.

Thank Tall Luthier, the only thing is there’s no noise from the pump. Other than the beep and error message on the system screen, absolutely nothing else is happening. I guess the system is disengaging the pump maybe?

It would seem that the Control Panel sees an empty water tank so prevents the pump working to avoid damage to the pump.
1. Check connections to the sensor situated on top of the water tank . Access through rear wardrobe. Remove bottom shelf and look forward.
2. Reset Control Panel.

Took my wife to work this morning in the van, on return tried again and it now works. I had been using as a home office and may have exceeded some programmed heater time usage rule or I guess something just reset. Hopefully experience may help someone in future. Thanks for all advice. I...

Similar issue discussed here......might be worth completely draining the tank with the lever in the wardrobe and refilling just incase the float is stuck. Another forum member reported the sensor had become lose in the tank and the sender was floating around, so another potential source.

I dont think its the normal "air lock " issue as the message is slightly different.

We get it on ours too, happens when the tank is full to the brim. If you turn the tap off then back on it should start to run. It'll still show an error on the panel, but won't give an audible warning until you've moved the van.
Have just learnt to not put too much water in. Don't want it "fixed" under warranty when it works just fine...

We had this warning on the first day of a holiday in the Outer Hebrides in September last year, although we could still use the tap after pressing the button on the Camping Control unit to OK the message. Ours resolved itself during the holiday and has not reoccured. As others have suggested draining and refilling the tank may fix the problem as it may well be the level sensor.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I did what WelshGas suggested and opened the red valve in the rear wardrobe above the gas locker and the water tank emptied itself very quickly and the error has gone and I can hear the pump working again. It’s as SAD said above, I must have over filled it and then maybe driving round the country roads, the sensor jammed.
Now I have a software issue which started today with the login window hanging and the SOS lights up. Last time this happened, it was a dealer visit. All I can say is it’s a good job we love our Calis. Any other vehicle this temperamental would be sold in a flash!!

Brilliant!! I was on that thread from last year too!!

So just carried out the fix which is hold down the emergency SOS button for 60 seconds u til it starts making a call then pressing again to cancel and IT WORKS!!!

How brilliant is this forum of people and information. Thanks again everyone.
