Dear All, I could do with some help and advice please. My 2014 SE fridge will only work when set to MAX. Anything below that and nothing happens at all. I've trawled through the forum and I note that @TheKolonel posted about a similar problem back in 2023. I tried contacting Penguin as suggested by @WelshGas in the post and they were very good and they agreed that it was probably a faulty thermostat. They would be happy to have a look at it but given that I am in the Highlands of Scotland and they are near Portsmouth that it is a wee bit tricky. They also do not stock replacement thermostats for my fridge alas.
So, I think I know what the fault is but I am struggling to source a replacement thermostat. Ive tried my local VW Commercial dealership and my nearest Campervan specialist retailer. Has anyone found a source for a thermostat for this situation and if so, how did they go about getting it in situ?
