Front window demister slow

Hi,

Still getting used to my new beach (2015 model), one question I have is - does anybody have any issues with the front window demister taking ages to clear the windscreen?

On max flow it makes lots of noise but surprisingly little air flow through the vents, there is definitely some air coming out but not a lot, especially when compared with the flow through the forward cabin vents when you move the selector.

When the selector is on demister/footwell heater there is very little airflow coming out of the window vents.

Is this normal that it takes ages to clear the windscreen or is there possibly a fault?

As Sidepod says , aircon is the best way to filter humidity out of any verhicle.

My ac comes on automatically if you put it to demist. And definitely the best way to clear the windscreen, with a bit of dry heat.

You shouldn’t need regassing, but that’d be one of the signs.

A/C on, and crack a window a touch too.
