Great engine. Loved mine - fuel pump I think as suggested.

Doesn't a Common Rail Diesel have two, a low pressure one in the fuel tank and a high pressure one after the filter for the common rail?

I think this mill is a PD isn’t it? If it is then no hi pressure pump.

If it’s a PD engine then I think the fuel pump is part of the vacuum pump on the end of the cam on the cylinder head?
