gas ring not staying lit

the left hand gas ring will not stay lit - well occasionally it stays on, but most of the time it won't stay lit once I've released the dial even if I've had it pressed in for 30seconds.
I think it's the thermocoupler - anyone replaced one or know where I can get the correct part?
Maybe it's just a standard caravan one?

Exactly the same is happening on mine (2008 vehicle) - is sorting it out a major problem?? I guess you have to remove the cooker, to get underneath - how is that done?? I haven't yet spoken to my Van Centre, but may do after the Bank Holiday - or is it a straightforward diy job??

It looks straightforward if it's replacing the thermocoupla - you can get to everything from the cupboards I think. It's not a big problem for me as I don't do that much cooking - so one ring is usually enough. I'll give it a go and post back my results if it works.
