Gas smell

Hi everyone.

I noticed that my GC 600 smells gas when I turn it on in the closet.

It was never the case before.

Oddingly the heating system works fine. But the switch between the two bottles remain red.

Any ideas?

I tried both hoses. Same smell

I lost pressure a few days ago and had gas smell in the closet so I guess it dumps some leftovers in the hose / system when shutting down?
It was fine and no smell after turning it to green again however.

Have you checked the regulator crash sensor ?

Where is the crash sensor?

I believe the problem is due to a loose hose but not sure where to check.

I lost a lot of gas and had to switch it off due to the smell. Maybe it's normal after a couple of years

Ah, it's that thing with the yellow hole. Am I supposed to use a screwdriver in it?

I had a leak on the flexi hose which has the rupture protection valve.

Are you referring to the hose between the bottle and the duo control?

Yes the crimped connection was leaking, the one that is from crash valve to bulkhead, direct from the bottle so full pressure.
