Followed the link out of interest but it made it hard to get back here (pressing back didn't work). I don't know if that is intentional, but it doesn't make a good impression (Chrome browser on Win 8).

Not intentional - the forum default appears to be to open a link in the current tab rather than a new one. Even so, the back button works on my ipad.
