Looking for a suitable grease for the bottom runner of the sliding door, I had a good clean up along the inner bodywork where the white nylon roller runs (yeah I know ;), but on a white van and all that) and now you can hear the roller clattering when you close the door.
The grease I removed from the runner was more soft wax like (white) really than grease.
Any ideas folks?

I'd speak to VW and find out what is spec'd.

Tricky one as you want it to lube but stay clean.
I use Belray waterproof geese and clean/reapply often.

Thinking about it, motorcycle chain lube would be good. That turns white after application.

I've got a couple of cans on the self in the garage and some Scottoiler oil, good call I'll give it a go, Ta

You can white grease in a spray can with a tube on the nozzle. Makes it easy to get the grease in the place you want it.
