This week I paid VW in Athlone, Co Westmeath, Ireland, a deposit for a new 4 motion, DSG, California Coast in Candy White for March Delivery. I am also buying a cottage in Co Roscommon and the California costs more than this cottage. I spent more on the California than the cottage because I expect to be living in it more than the cottage. Anyone like to share their experience living 6 months or more in a California anywhere in Europe... Simon

Congratulations and best of luck! We’re in-between white coasts at the moment (new one en route in February) and living in Cavan. Best, best vehicle we’ve ever had. Enjoy every minute.
