I’m thinking an Alpaca Poncho could be an absolute essential to van life. Very versatile with a multitude of uses. Keeping warm while having a late beer or even doubling up as a towel!

I’ve found some genuine ‘Made in Peru’ ones on amazon. Thoughts/experiences?

We have a couple of fluffy blankets for sitting outside in the evenings. Means we can sit out longer or when it’s not as warm as expected.
Also doubles up for extra layers of bedding in the cold months.

I also have a surf robe. Which I was dead against when they first start appearing. I used to call them kook robes.
But friends convinced me I don’t have the body to flaunt anymore and better off keeping it under wraps...

Plus, it’s great for campsite shower blocks. I stick it on, walk to the showers with flip flops. It’s the only thing I need to remove before showering.
Which means no clean clothes etc dragging on wet/dirty shower cubicles floors

I think I can see where you're going with this. Fed up with queuing at the washing up area are we?

For maximum effect why not accessorize? :thumb
