Heads Up Display advice needed

Hello, I have a 2019 T6 diesel California and would like to purchase a "Heads Up Display" (HUD). I wondered if anyone "successfully" uses a HUD that plugs into the Onboard Diagnostic socket (OBD), and what their experiences using it are and are you happy with it (a brand name would be useful). I have tried researching it but can't find a definitive answer as to whether HUD's that you plug into your OBD socket work with diesel vehicals. Some manufactures say "not for use with diesel vehicles". Some people say that it's due to interference from the glow plugs. As a side line, I read something about type 1 and type 2 OBD sockets so not sure if I have type 1 or 2 and if so does it make any difference with regards to possible interference when using HUD's that plug into the OBD socket. Does anyone successfully use a GPS HUD, if so a brand and model would be helpful. In advance thank you for any help you might be able to provide.
