How long would you wait ?

I see that the T6 Delays thread is still going strong - 75 pages. Is that a forum record?

That and a recent arrival in the DM household a couple of weeks ago got me to thinking about what is the longest anyone has waited for something and was it worth it?

My purchase was a Navdy HUD (heads up display) - Navdy.com - which I ordered as a crowd sourcing Pre-order offer in September 2014. That's 28 months. I ordered it a year before I even started thinking about a Cali and it arrived 10 months after my beloved Ocean.

Was it worth it! Probably not. But the saving grace was that I paid $200 for a unit that is now retailing at $800.

So who has waited how long for what? Can you beat 28 weeks?

PS. I'll start another thread with a review of the Navdy itself in case anyone is considering a heads-up display. I couldn't find a relevant thread here yet.

Waited 20y since my early 20's when i first dreamed of owning one , before actually got the Cali ...still very happy having it.

The Navdy looks interesting to me, not $800 cool but maybe $200 is about right.
