Hi guys, I have a 6mnth old T6.2 Cali. With the onset of some frosty mornings I’ve been using the heated windscreen. I know the image is a little unclear but there’s a good 2 inch strip that doesn’t defrost as quickly as the remainder. Should I be concerned ?

Cheers

Something to keep an eye on for sure. But if it is for example not blocking the view when driving, then personaly I would not be concerned. If it is then I would use the wartenty to get it look afther.

If it’s under warranty I would want it sorted (assuming it is a fault and not one of VW’s “normal features“).

That looks like a very uniform strip - are there any heating elements in this frosted zone?

New feature retro split screen! I am with @ArunAlec I would want it fixed for me I think it does obstruct the view.

Looks like a faulty manufactured screen as heated elements are in 2 sections that shouldn't leave a gap such as you have.

Hopefully new screen available off the shelf.

Thanks for all the comments guys, I’ll be on the phone to the dealer in the morning

Off topic, but, sad news about Titchfield Haven Visitors Centre!
Yes, under-investment by the council into the centre for years. Now too much to maintain an old building with a market value of £1.5 m
