Hi , I can’t get the boiler to work with the diesel option , but it is working fine in electric plug in mode . I’ve checked the window latch / no issue but I keep getting an error on the trims controller and it just won’t work - error 122H on display clears and then reappears

Anybody got any ideas - I’ve had some helpful feedback from other forums but so far VW have not solved it for me

See error description attached. It’s specific to the diesel system. The altitude kit is the little 1/2 switch fitted alongside the Truma control panel, it selects different metering pumps depending on altitude, check its on 1. I did see on a post on another forum that the altitude kit had been miswired somehow.and that caused issues. Either way if VW can’t solve call Truma as that seems to be where folks end up when the dealers are unable to solve. I’ve also posted the SSP which may be of some help in your search.

Hi, we had the exact same issue. We took it to Truma in Derby who fixed it for us. It turned out to be the cable connector for the altitude pump was fitted to the Combi D Meter Pump. There are 2 connectors so basically they need swapping around for it to work properly.
Truma diagnosed the error as they got the diesel heating working on the altitude switch 2 - which it shouldn't unless you way up high. So then they looked at the connectors and swapped them over and bingo it worked. Hope this helps.
