Hello Everyone

I have an 09 California 174, I bought it so my Daughter and I can spend more quality time together, It hasn't disapointed !! We have had so much fun, I have a few questions though if anyone can help.
My control display is failing so needs replacing, Is it a case of buying one and I can fit it or is it more complex than that??
Also Im looking to fit a tow bar but my normal tow bar guy isnt keen??
Any tips and comments would be welcome,

Towbar fitting to the pre facelift. California's isn't a problem as it doesn't need to be coded in, any towbar fitter should be able to do it

The reason I can't have my California delivered sooner is because I am waiting for a detachable towbar fitted, Peterborough VW are fitting mine from where I bought the van.

The screen detail is dissapearing, so it only shows a few lines and is hard to read, which makes using the rooof fridge and night heater aq bit of a guess

Same with mine.
Before you spend £600 on a new unit consider contacting volksvans who is a forum member on here. He seems pretty confident he can repair them which would be a better option I would've thought.
