Hello from a new (old) california owner

Hi all,

I just wanted to say Hi. After reading the forum for a few weeks we have finally joined the California club. After much deliberation and sums, we decided to buy an older van than we first planned and have bought in with a well looked after 2012 beach. The idea being to keep this van for a year or two and see whether we miss having the kitchen or if we are correct in thinking the extra space of the beach will be more valuable to us. Overall first impressions are good, but there are a couple of upgrades I would like to make, firstly adding an EHU and possibly a parking heater. We are way up North in Newcastle upon Tyne, can anyone recommend any good california specialists who could do this work near to us?

Did your Beach come with a mattress for the downstairs bed? Two or three seat?

Did your Beach come with a mattress for the downstairs bed? Two or three seat?

3 seat, no mattress included but we have bought a memory foam one. (£200 eBay, v good fit, v comfy)
