Yes you will find many dealers seem overwhelmed with orders, so they have no need to follow up any potential inquiries, it’s basically, if you want to buy a 60k plus van, you go on the VW configurator, spec your van (with some advice on this forum, then put the same spec into drive the deal and Autobid, get the prices, ring your closest VW California dealer, if they can’t get very close on price, go with DTD or Autobid.
That’s basically what we did, we are in Cumbria, ordered December, delivery sometime in July.
Yes it’s a very weird experience spending 60-70k doing it all online, without even the offer of a cup of coffee, we are just a number.
