Hello from Italy

Hello everyone!

My name is Boris, I’m from Italy and I'm passionate about traveling and VWs. I'm excited to join this forum to share my love for Calis and Westies.
My travel companion is a 2007 Volkswagen California. It has been with me on numerous adventures, the last one around Iceland on September/October this year.

After purchasing it as a used vehicle, the interior of my California was completely redone by ourselves to better suit our way of traveling.
I'm always looking for new tips and ideas to improve my van and make each trip even more special. I hope to share advice, stories, and tricks with you all.

As with Colin, the Iceland trip really intrigues me, what a great way to see the country, although your own beautiful country isn't exactly too bad either

Colin thank you for your interest in our work, these are just some pictures of the new interior. As you can see we did a lot of customization and we simplified the living space to the bone.
We really love wood and the style of old mountain cabins. We tried to bring a touch of this style into the vehicle's interior while using modern and lightweight materials and finishes:

Howard, Italy is a very nice place to visit and to live, is a concentration of history, art, gastronomy, and joy. That said, we love northern landscapes and autumn colors, so we often drive to Scandinavia and UK.
Iceland is another story... to me is one of the best places on earth. Been there a couple of times, the first one on foot with a small tent from the south to the north. The second one with the Cali (no off-road, but many unpaved roads).
