Hi Guys,

We have finally got our T6.1 Ocean 199 4Motion (the only model available in NZ). This replaces our 2014 home conversion 4motion. The family (2 kids) are looking forward to some adventures this summer.

Sorry for slow the slow reply and lack of photos. As it has been summer time here we have been out and about camping in the Cali. The old van is now sold.

What a BEAUTY! That colour combination isn't available in the UK amazingly, but the individual colours are. This forum often promotes buying a white Cali to wrap, but a silver one is another choice.
Would be interested to hear VWs thought process on choices for territories (including why NZ'ers can only buy the most expensive California, and north Americans cant buy any!)

Haha I bought silver (UK) and plan to wrap lower half... sorry for lost hijack.
But I did want to comment on the colour combo earlier. Looks fab.

We spent 8 weeks last year in NZ.
We borrowed a Cali from a couple in Wellington, they flew to the UK and borrowed ours for 8 weeks.
Only fly in the ointment was the insurance for the NZ couple to drive in the UK
