Hi there,
I hope you don't mind me asking but can any of your Shropshire VW owners recommend anything that is a 'must see or do' in your County (or near by) as we are in Shropshire next week for three days (based just outside Telford but each day ending up watching my son play hockey for England U16s at Lilleshall NSC). I know nothing of the County other than it is very beautifula nd very rural. Local knowledge is always best! Feel free to ask the same if you ever visit Bristol (& surrounds!) Thanks, Ian

Hi, me and my wife are looking to place an order for a California ocean in the next week or so. I'm still in the process of picking colours and options so this forum will be invaluable for making the right decision.
This will be our first California but I've owned a transporter, that I've converted myself, for just over a year now.
Any hints and tips for getting the best deal and choosing the right options/colour would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.
Luke and Beth.
Congrats Luke and Beth on your acquisition (even though it was some time ago now!)

Hi BeagleMum
This is what I love about this forum!
MANY THANKS !
Ian

Blists Hill open air museum at Ironbridge is a fantastic day out. Attingham Park, Nation Trust, is well worth a visit. If you want a walk in the hills then Cardingmill Valley near Church Stretton. Wroxeter (close to Attingham Park) if you like Roman ruins and there's is a vineyard there too. Shrewsbury and Ludlow are both well worth a visit. Craven Arms has the museum of lost content which is an amazing place.

At Bridgnorth you can take a ride on the Severn Valley Railway or the Bridgnorth Cliff Railway
Parking's a bit of a nightmare but it's worth it!

Craven Arms has the above-mentioned museum but otherwise is a bit of a blot, apart from the wackiest supermarket you've ever been to, Tuffins just off the A49.
Bishops Castle is a lovely little town, not very much to see but what there is, is quaint - and a very nice pub for lunch.
