Help please. Front windscreen wipers stopped working

Hi all,
On our way to the Lake District this evening in our California T5.1 se the windscreen wipers didn't come back on after a short stop at a garage. We've checked the fuses under the drinks holder and they seem to be fine. The washers still work and the rear wiper works too.
Any help would be much appreciated as we're stuck halfway to our destination and there's no sign of the rain ever stopping.

Good morning all,
Just a update. After our unscheduled stop in Moffat last night, we dropped into a local garage (MCM garage service's) this morning unannounced, they saw us straight away despite being really busy and diagnosed the problem as the wiper linkage being stuck, he said it was a common problem. After a quick wiggle about with the wiper arms they started working again and we've managed to continue on our way. I'll get it booked in to get the linkage replaced when we get back. I would highly recommend MCM if anyone is passing through Moffat and is in need of help.
