Help with the last meter of cabling for a rear dashcam

I'm installing a rear dashcam. I was able to drive the cable connecting the front camera with the rear one till the AC control unit.

Ideally, I want to take the cable till he top left corner. But I'm out of ideas on how to do it.

I tried with a cable guide from that corner. Hopping it will appear in the AC unit. But it gets stuck somewhere. Also, I don't know how to remove the top rear plastic to have a better view.

Any help/hint/tip on how to continue is very welcomed.

Maybe try removing the D pillar trim at the rear. See below.

The VW wiring loom runs down the other side of the vehicle behind the equivalent trim.

@WelshGas thank you for pointing me to the "D pillar". That is the key. Knowing what to search for made it easier.

Someone on the internet had a video about the "D trim" explaining how to do it:

This the result. Tomorrow I will try to make the cable not to rattle inside the plastic.
