Morning everyone and thanks for the add, we are Mark and Andrea from West Yorkshire. We are new to campervans (and VWs) though not camping. We took the plunge on Monday and ordered a T6.1 Cali Ocean, cant wait to get started! We have done a lot of camping around the UK and camping and motorhomes around the US and Canada (last one was an awesome trip through the blue ridge mountains - highly recommended).

We have a Freddie the Lakeland terrorist, a six year old dog reactive rehome, like a cute teddy bear one moment and a snarling wolf the next!

I am a little apprehensive and hope we have done the right thing! but let the adventures begin!

You have. I bought last year, had several nights of “have we done the right thing ?” After a range of trips away, learning all the time. Now about to start the NC500, currently in Culloden, just had a Thai curry, heater kicked in because an unexpected mist has come in, dog is asleep on swivelled passenger seat, and I have just changed duvet for the heavier one. Not even thinking about the right thing…
