You will enjoy this. Check out https://davidjennytravel.com/ for inspiration. If you have 4 weeks, cover the Balkan countries - Bulgaria, Greece , Montenegro, Bosnia etc. Take the coastal route where you can.

Greece, into Croatia, Slovinia, Austria, Germany france and then uk. Just need to plan Greece to Slovinia.

We went Greece to Croatia via Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary to avoid insurance issues in Montenegro, Albania and Bosnia (Bosnia can be by-passed by ferry from the Peljesac Penninsular).
