Hook-up Cable

I don’t know what your individual issues are, I just know by giving a little squirt of this stuff every couple of months makes it easier to decouple the electric hook up cable. Photos to avoid crossed wires … haha!

Right, so first we're lubing, then confusion if its the electrical contacts (which I doubt) or the blue casing, and now we don't need to.

So how have you got around the issue of the hook up not sliding on easily without a hefty push, or taking off without needing 3 hands and a prayer to hope you don't pull the whole socket off the van??

Just wiggle it gently from side to side as you pull and it will come out. The plastic casing is designed to be be a tight fit to keep out moisture.

It’s the plastic casing that is tight, not the contacts.

I have never lubricated anything on the EHU.
Just a firm push and pull and everything works ok for me. 15 years already.
