How to claim "free servicing"?

I've got my van booked in for a service and I think I have 2 "free services".

Could someone please explain how I claim these?

Do I pay the service centre and then claim from VW?

I'm not getting the van serviced at the supplying dealer. Does this matter?

You need to register with the dealer your going to use. If you dig out your 2 free paid services paperwork I think you can send an e mail to them to register them In your name . Then the dealer should have it on their system

it will depend who issued the service plan the one i had was issued by the dealer and was only valid at their dealerships i believe if it was issued by Volkswagen uk then you can use any dealer. i will be corrected if im wrong

Should be on the VW database, I did mention the service contract when I booked and all carried out without cost.

Thanks all. It was part of the finance deal. I took the deposit contribution and free servicing as a sweetener.

Hopefully settling the finance the next day won't have made these disappear.

Just thought I'd post back my experience.

It was trivial. I mentioned the service pack as I dropped off the van and the service centre handled it all.

I can only assume the services are recorded on an online system and VW settle up with the van centre.

Can't fault it. Excellent service.

I did the same and I have used 3 different dealers and all knew about the service pack when I checked with them.
