On my sons T5 Conversion the available boot storage space is much less than my California. The backrest of his bench seat is at least 12” closer to the rear door than mine. Can we have a pic with the back door open.
I'm puzzled at how the conversions always seem to have loads of floor space
even with a rock n roll bed even though the Cali has a similar bed.
So we have an over indulgent bed ?On my sons T5 Conversion the available boot storage space is much less than my California. The backrest of his bench seat is at least 12” closer to the rear door than mine.
No it’s the depth of the metal “Bed Extension” board. My sons equivalent is half the depth as it is folded. His bed is virtually the same length, when unfolded, as mine.So we have an over indulgent bed ?
Gotcha, it was that double back rest that i forgot about. No it’s the depth of the metal “Bed Extension” board. My sons equivalent is half the depth as it is folded. His bed is virtually the same length, when unfolded, as mine.
The bed is fixed in place on the floor. If you have a rail system then you can increase “Boot Space” at the expense of Floor Space.
